Travis Edward Kellman, MSFP, CFP®, CRPC®, EA

President/CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional

Travis has been a financial planner helping clients plan to achieve their goals since 2006.  Born in Schenectady, he graduated from Niskayuna Central Schools.  He went on to get his B.S. in Business Economics from SUNY Plattsburgh and his M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

He also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation, the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation and he is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.

Travis believes strongly in advancing the financial planning profession.  He was on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Northeastern NY and was an adjunct professor with the College for Financial Planning where he taught financial advisors various financial planning courses.

Travis lives in Glenville with his wife Allison, two daughters Katherine and Abigale, along with their rescue dog, Brandy.  He enjoys running, hiking, camping and reading.  

 

 

Raymond Zegger, CFP®, MBA

Partner/CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional

Ray has been in the personal financial planning business for almost 25 years, with 20 years running his own independent practice.  Before he provided financial advice to individuals, Ray worked for 11 years as a business management consultant for ECG Consulting Group in Albany, NY.  Ray received a B.A. in Economics with honors from Trinity College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation since 2000.

Ray has great confidence in the comprehensive financial planning process. Experience has convinced him of the essential role it plays in the development of goals-based investment strategies that competently manage risk.

Ray lives in Schenectady with his wife, Gretchen.  They have two daughters, Alex and Cate.  He enjoys hiking (Adirondack 46er and Northeastern 111er), kayaking, biking and reading.

 

 

Angela DeZalia-Diacovo

Operations Specialist

Angie is the Operations Specialist for Kellman Barnes Financial Planning. She strives to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes as well as provide excellent client experiences. Angie's experience includes nearly 20 years as a financial advisor and holding the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional. Her many years of providing financial advice and her experience at Kellman Barnes has advanced her commitment to comprehensive financial planning.

Angie grew up in the Adirondacks and has a great love of the outdoors. She currently lives in Alplaus.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and her two four-legged loves, Dodger and Finn.

Volunteer work to help those in need and her love of animals are among her many passions. She is proud to be a Rotarian providing “service above self” with her fellow Rotarians locally and worldwide. She values the trust placed in her to care for peoples' animals through her pet-sitting business, Kindred Hearts 4 Paws, LLC.

Angie enjoys traveling and has been fortunate to visit Africa, Italy and France many times and looks forward to many more adventures.

 

 

William (Billy) Barry, CFP®, MBA

Associate/CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional

Billy has been in personal financial planning since 2018 with Goldman Sachs Ayco, where he was a financial coach and seminar speaker. There he worked with clients from all walks of life so he could truly hone his craft and become a strong planner that can meet his diverse client base's needs. While working at Goldman Sachs, Billy completed his MBA in Financial Planning from DeSales University in 2022. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Billy is a believer in personal financial planning and has seen how powerful it can be to have someone empower you to achieve your financial goals. Originally from New City, NY in Rockland County, Billy is a proud Siena Alum where he earned his B.S. in Management with a concentration in HR, a minor in Psychology and a certificate in Community Consulting. It was at Siena Billy realized his passion for helping others, volunteering often for projects like Habitat for Humanity builds or providing business consulting services to nonprofits in the area as part of the Siena's pro bono consulting program.

A classic Siena story, Billy met his wife Kirsten while they were attending Siena. They loved the Capital region so much they decided to make it their permanent home in 2018 and now reside in Loudonville with their rescue dog Patches.

In his downtime you can often find Billy reading, on a hike with his wife, or playing or watching sports. He is at his happiest however, in his backyard with the grill among friends and family.
